Welcome to this week’s Modern Classic Motorcycle News Weekly Round-Up for the week ending 2nd August 2026. This week saw Issue 72 of Modern Classic Motorcycle News released first to YouTube Members before becoming available to everyone, alongside the latest Apex66 competition featuring a Harley-Davidson Sportster Custom. We also published two new Walk-Around videos, taking an in-depth look at the 2026 Honda CB500 Hornet and the 2026 Triumph Bonneville Bobber.
In the world of riding gear and accessories, we covered the new Dainese Ignite 2 TX JKT VR46, the retro-inspired Dainese Vintedge Air TX Jacket, Oxford’s Gripper Clear Tank Grips, and the new Sena Vortex rider communication system. We also looked at the latest DJI Osmo Pocket 4P for moto-vloggers, LighTech’s new customisation range for the Yamaha MT-09, the launch of Bluroc’s x-Bongo, and the new Show & Shine feature from MCL26.
